It’s been quite a week!
If you follow the blog here, you’ll have seen my post from Saturday about MGMT and 2003, which many people seemed to enjoy.
I also wrote yesterday about Luigi Mangione, and my own recent nightmare dealing with a massive corporation, my former employer, and the satisfaction of finally, successfully standing up to them.
The truth is, I’ve been so all over the place mentally this week that I haven’t had much opportunity to really reflect, or to sink into anything beyond those and the work on my plate. I saw Interstellar in IMAX again. I saw Cliffhanger again, this time on the big screen for the first time and it was incredible. I slept through an experimental film screening. I saw Flesh for Frankenstein in 3D, again, first time on the big screen. All lovely stuff, but not much meat there, y’know?
I haven’t read much, not really. I’ve barely listened to music, other than my Electronic Film Scores playlist on Apple Music, which accompanies me while I get into writing mode.
So I’ll leave it at that.
Oh, except I did want to share this hilarious teaser for This Is Spinal Tap that I saw this week. Incredible stuff.
